Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or playing Case Officer (“the Game”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. The Game is operated by Aeolus Game Development LLC (“we”, “us”).

2. Description of Service

Case Officer is a multiplayer strategy card game set during the Cold War. It is a work of fiction. All characters, events, intelligence agencies, and scenarios depicted are fictional or used in a fictional context for gameplay purposes. The Game does not promote, endorse, or provide instruction in real-world espionage or intelligence activities.

3. Accounts

You may play as a guest without creating an account. If you sign in via Google or Discord, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may not impersonate others or create accounts for fraudulent purposes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Game for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the Game or its infrastructure
  • Use offensive or harassing display names or codenames
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Game
  • Interfere with other players' enjoyment of the Game

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the Game — including game mechanics, artwork, text, narratives, code, and design — is the property of Aeolus Game Development LLC unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Game's content without prior written permission.

6. User Content

Content you create within the Game (display names, codenames, game decisions) remains yours but you grant us a license to display it as part of the Game's functionality (e.g., on public dossier pages and in multiplayer game sessions).

7. Availability

The Game is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Game at any time without notice. Game data, including saved games and career records, may be reset during development.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).
